The wealth of amenities at Jojoba Hills SKP Resort is a good reason to live here, but the best reason to stay in the Resort is its members. Here you will find over 500 members, each an Escapee, each working to the best of their abilities to make this place the perfect place to be. It is a great place for hugs, handshakes, and pats on the back.

  You will find SKPs out on the work crews volunteering to make improvements to the infrastructure of the park and to maintain what we have. Other SKPs bring the coffee and cookies to encourage them to keep it up, often sticking around for a few words of advice. Here is the recently completed Dry Waterfall.

You will find smiling SKPs in the office, both on the staff and as volunteers, handling the business of the park, checking in visitors, paying the bills, and keeping track of the work that needs to be done to maintain a business this large.

 You will find SKPs helping other SKPs learn basic computer operations, surf the internet, and download e-mail at the CyberCenter. For the more active participant, there are SKPs heading up activities in yoga, aquasize, tennis, golf, dancing, walking and hiking. Other SKPs will organize and teach crafts, cards and board game.

 You will find SKPs taking visitors around for a personal tour, showing them all the places you have seen in this tour but up close. You will find SKPs helping other SKPs when there is a problem, providing support and encouragement, giving advice and suggestions to each other whether wanted or not.

You will find SKPs having fun playing games or horseshoes, enjoying a swim in the pool or soak in the spa, or getting together in the afternoon for the ice cream social, talking with their friends, exchanging gossip, and swapping a few tall tales.

You will find SKPs who build their sites into marvels of beauty with things they can share with others. Others will work to arrange tours and encourage recycling and prepare charitable contributions.


Most of all you will find people with SKP attitudes, SKP smiles, and SKP hugs and handshakes. It is a great place to be, with great people to be around.  Come see us personally and collect some SKP hugs, and we'll see ya' down the road.
